Double Bounce

Playing duets is one of a musician’s great joys, but finding stimulating repertoire for two beginning pianists is not so easy—until now.

The Bridge

The ten piano duets in Double Bounce, taken from our piano method, Piano, Body and Soul, offer beautiful, sophisticated sounds to adventurous pairs of players.
This collection also includes practice notes and a warmup by Joan Harkness.

Glass

This music may ask you to open your ears to new ways of listening. It reflects both my musical inclinations and the kinds of musical ideas concert composers have been exploring in the 20th and 21st centuries.
One of the pleasures of playing—rather than listening to—music is that, as you practice a piece over and over, you begin to feel, hear, and understand the music more deeply. Sometimes you even begin to understand the composer’s intent, almost as if you are in telepathic communication with her brain. Welcome to my world! Hope you enjoy it.
